I am getting ready to go out of town for the weekend. I am so very excited about this. It is a Women's retreat with my church. I have never been on one before so I can not wait.
Today I had conferences with my girls teachers. I am happy to report that they are doing fantastic. Lilly is all A's...which is no surprise. Sadie is 3 B's and 2 A's...Fantastic. I am so proud of both of them. They work very hard and it shows.
Gabe went with and he ended up in the art room with the girls and painted his first picture. It is super cute and I can not wait to take it home. I figured that wet paint and 3 children in a clean van were not a good thing to mix. So we will pick it up on Tuesday.
Right now I am listening to the stupid books that make noise because Sadie feels like that is a better way to spend her time than cleaning up her messes. Gabe is running around and Lilly is being a bit bossy today...or everyday. I have already taken some Motrin and I REALLY would like for that to kick in.
Last night we went to the YMCA. Kal needs to go as much as possible and it really wouldn't hurt my big butt to get on the treadmill. When the girls were done with their class (sparks) we went out to the car and he had put roses on my steering wheel...so sweet. So I came home and cut them and put them in water and have been smelling them all day today.
Well that is it until Sunday night or Monday because I have to go!
